A celebrity’s life is not always about glamour and fame, it’s also about being real despite what the public has to say.

One of those is Jameela Jamil, who makes sure she remains authentic in her thoughts and words and who has never been afraid of calling out critics and other stars.

As a very vocal activist and actress, Jameela has always been targeted by internet trolls, who always have nasty comments ready for The Good Place star.

The most recent and perhaps the worst accusation was thrown at her was that she is suffering from the Munchausen syndrome – a mental disorder wherein a person acts as if he/she has an illness even though he/she isn’t really sick.

The naysayers keep citing her different interviews that they said showed discrepancies about the injuries she incurred in car accidents.

The 33-year-old lashed out at them, saying they should do their research because those incidents happened 13 years apart.

Jameela previously opened up about two different car accidents: the first one was at 17, when she was hit by a car, which ended her modeling career because she had to rest for six months, and the other happened when she was jogging during The Good Place season one and accidentally disturbed a beehive.

Skeptical fans were quick to point out that it was impossible to continue filming if you have suffered a concussion and a broken tooth, but Jameela said there was a rush of adrenaline that masked the pain and made it possible to work again.

Other detractors also found it odd that in both instances, there was a beehive involved, but the English actress is sticking with this coincidence.

The radio presenter didn’t hold back and answered the questions about medical problems she aired in the past, including seizures, a cancer scare, and mercury poisoning. One avid supporter slammed the skeptics and said Jameela should not explain herself to the trolls.

The celebrity, meanwhile, responded that all the hate and unnecessary attention were because of her race and gender.

Irritated with the unsolicited comments, Jameela believed that if the energy used in destroying other people online was diverted to a more meaningful deed such as fighting the injustice, then the internet would become a better place.

In the end, Jameela hinted she wasn’t affected by the vitriol and explained that the wild conspiracy theories may still come but she won’t be afraid to continue advocating and helping others.
