As the cold breeze makes the ambience more chilly and romantic, it’s the perfect time to get married. Many people across the globe opt for winter weddings because they are picture-perfect and dreamy. Plus they also provide a great atmosphere to proclaim your love for your significant other and enter into holy matrimony.

Winter weddings have been so common nowadays that someone you may know or even you could be having a wedding in the cold weather, but does that mean that winter weddings are completely fault-free? Well, not really. Winter weddings might be perfect in fitting the vision you have for your wedding but it also brings problems of their own that could sabotage the dream.

For starters, the chilly weather can take a huge toll on your skin, leaving it dry and flaky. This is not a good look if you’ve got a wedding coming up. Whether you are the bride or groom or the guest attending the wedding, your skin should be prepared for the wedding season coming.

1. Say No To Chapped Lips

Chapped and cracked lips are such a bad look, not to mention how extremely annoying they are and if you are someone who has a bad habit of picking your skin then you best believe that your lips are not in safe hands.

One of the biggest drawbacks is the moisture being sucked away, thanks to the chilly and dry breeze. This is why you must look into long-lasting and moisturizing products that will make your lips nourished and smooth.

2. Cream Over Powder For Products

A lot of people might already be against this tip just from reading the title but hear it from the experts. Usually, powder products are preferred in warm weather because your skin is already dealing with sweat and the excessive moisture that comes with it.

Experts suggest that, for winters, people should use cream products as they are great for locking in moisture and they effortlessly blend into the skin without giving a cakey look. Cream blushes, highlighters, bronzers, and foundations sit perfectly on the skin but you have to make sure to moisturize before starting your makeup routine.

3. Don’t Forget Hand Cream

When it comes to moisturizing your skin, you focus on your face, neck, and other parts of your body but what about your hands? Not moisturizing your hands is a skincare sin especially when you’ll be getting married.

Everyone’s eyes will be on your wedding ring and subsequently your hand so why would you want to leave them dry? Make sure to take the moisturizer and apply it generously on your hands and then massage it into the skin in a circular motion so your skin absorbs all that moisture.

With these tips, you will be rocking the wedding season coming up.
